Choosing Sheeting and Colours for your Shed

You can always count on Now Buildings to design you a good looking shed, here is a guild on how to choose sheeting and colours for your Shed.

You can always count on Now Buildings to design you a good looking shed.

We use Australian made BlueScope steel for its strength and durability, but it also makes for a great looking shed! Our designs allow you to choose from BlueScope’s Trimdek or Custom Orb sheeting for your internal and external shed walls. Custom Orb is suitable for residential or commercial sheds and will give you the classic Aussie corrugated shed look.  If it’s something a bit different you’re after, try Trimdek. Featuring prominent trapezoidal ribs and fine fluting in the pans, Trimdek is a standout feature for your new shed.

Choosing colours can always be a difficult task, especially if you have more than one person’s opinion to consider. That’s why it’s important to do your homework before buying your new shed. Check out the sheds in our gallery and make a note of any colour combinations you like.  If you’ve seen neighbours or friends whose sheds you like the look of, ask them what colours they chose.

Our sheds can be manufactured in traditional Zincalume or from any of BlueScope’s 22 colours from the Colorbond range.  Zincalume will give you the traditional shed look as the steel is coated in BlueScope’s industry leading zinc/aluminium alloy.

Colorbond sheeting is coated in BlueScope’s industry-leading metallic coating and comes in 22 colours ranging from classic to contemporary. You can choose to have your wall sheeting in one colour and roof sheeting in another. You can also choose to have your gutters and downpipes made in another colour to compliment the roof and wall colours. How about that classic Manor Red, Cottage Green and Classic Cream combo? Want something more modern? Try Shale Grey or Surfmist! Take a look at BlueScope’s Colorbond range to find the colour combination that suits you.
